I nearly had a heart attack. I had forgotten to actually buckle her in!!

I did this when DS was about 2 months old. Had a blanket over him and forgot to strap him in. Went to visit DH at work, opened the car door and - oops.

I did that once and DD said pretty much the same thing "aren't you going to buckle me in"?
I freaked out too!

Yes, guilty of that, too, except DD was too young to talk. Realized it as I took her OUT of the car seat - ugh. Never again.

I did this once with an infant so he obviously couldn’t ask me about it. Didn’t realize until I got to my destination 10 minutes away!

I did that once but with my infant. I was out of town and drove him about 7 minutes from the hotel to a relative's house. Discovered it when I got him out of the car to bring him inside.

I attempted to pull the night time pull up for my kid this weekend. We did lots of pre bed potty trips but he still peed in his sleep (he'd had quite a few dry nights, we thought maybe he was peeing first thing, but he called us in at about 3 AM). Oh well, not ready yet (he's 3).

My DH brought our 3yo to preschool without shoes this morning (didn't notice because he carried her to the car)

Haha, I forgot my 3yo’s shoes this morning! We had errands to run after dropping his siblings off at school. I had to carry him through the parking lot and he just went in sock feet to the car repair shop and Target.

You have nothing on me. I drove off with the back door WIDE OPEN in the grocery store parking lot. I have had my kids on the expressway and realized they took the belt off.
