I Love Amazon Instant Video

Dora the Explorer is only on Amazon now, not Netflix. That's the main reason we have Amazon. What else do you watch on Amazon?

I just did a search on Amazon Instant Video because I am trying to figure out if I "rent" a movie from it if I'm going to have trouble viewing it. I have a smart TV that streams netflix. I just don't want to spend the money and then discover I need to download something that I'm never going to figure out how to get onto my smartTV...

Can anyone tell me about their experience?

Besides Dora (which thank God as your kid gets older, is no longer watched) - what else is there on AZ Prime? I find nothing of interest at all - maybe one or two once in a blue moon. And to find a decent show or movie is like looking for a needle in the hay stack - clunky and slim pickins! I'm on a trial of Hulu Plus- like it.. also have netflix which is good.

How I Met Your Mother is there and is free with prime!

Is it the Prime Videos? Because those ones don't have much variety.

I am a prime member but we had Apple TV. Can I stream through amazon on the Apple TV? Thanks!

Yes you can use air play from a Mac, ipad or iPhone to watch amazon on the Apple TV. Otherwise, I'm not sure how you would do it

Try streaming something free and see if it works.
