Burger King is expensive.

If you find BK expensive, you are not making enough money.

Cut cable, rent out a room, etc.

But being on a road trip the kids had fast food twice today (I know.. I know)

Anyway, I noticed that Taco Bell is alot cheaper and Burger King was really alot more expensive than most fast food.

Anyone else notice this?

Taco Bell is outrageously cheap, so that's why.

ha! I was so annoyed the las time I went to Taco Bell and it was about $12. I thought it should've been cheaper. Then I went to Chik Fil A and was promptly put in my place at the over $20 check. WTF

So this comes to the point I always think about. I never understand why people say that the reason people are fat are because junk food and fast food are cheap. As a home cook I find both very expensive. I cook witb a ton of different kinds of veggies herbs and spices. I shop at the Korean grocery and pack lunch for the whole family of 4. We eat out one night a week. My grocery bill is approx $140 a week. That means each meal for each family member comes out to $1.75 per person per meal. You cannot feed anyone on that small amount eating at ANY fastfood restaurant. We eat very healthy and most people consider my cooking gourmet. I spare no expense and eat wheat free, so no cheap pastas, breads, or pastries.

My food bill is higher, but I have teenage boys. But, I totally agree. A whopper and drink for one kid is like $7. It's about $2 at home. And since a whopper alone isn't enough for them, each kids bill is closer to $10.
