If they wanted to "flag" you for investigation, they would do it in the computer where you would not see it. |
I don't think you're paranoid OP. I take a lot (by my calculations) of OTC, but really behind the counter allergy medicine. I love my meds and only take it as needed because it works so well. Still, sometimes I leave it at work or home and go buy more. I always think I might get flagged. I also worry that it works too good and they'll take it off the market soon (like they did with Drixoral). Damn meth heads. |
I just pulled out my nuvaring from target and they stick my color strip on the package (purple) and the word nuvaring is highlighted in light blue. Where is yours yellow? |
For the most accurate answer to this question, ask the pharmacy. For a bunch of anecdata and speculation, ask DCUM. |
The color wasn't yellow. On the red paper bag they give you with your prescription, with your name/date of birth printed on a label on the outside of the bag, the random word "YELLOW" was also printed on the label. I'd just never noticed that before. |
yellow could also refer to a prescription status - maybe your pills are on their last refill, or second-to-last. Or maybe it has something to do with your insurance provider or claim status. Or it could be an internal classification and red is emergency meds, yellow is birth control and routine stuff, something like that.
I would only assume they were flagging anyone for painkillers or anything that could be used to make meth. |
