Please tell me you're kidding.

Still nothing posted. Wonder if they will get something posted today.

I know that they are working with a very limited staff but with the impact on so many families, it would be great if they would prioritize getting game schedules out earlier. Even if it involves making registration deadlines earlier in the season...

It often has nothing to do with registration, but rather when permits for the fields are released from the county. If you don't like the job they are doing, I will bet they will take more help. Volunteer and be a part of making it better.

For some reason they plan on playing games today for the Cherry Blossom Tournament.

How does the date by which the county releases permits for the fields have anything to do with when MSI is able to release the game schedule? I get how it impacts when they can release the practice permit assignments but why the game schedule?

MSI has been poorly run for years but scheduling can be tougher than it may seem, particularly this year when private schools and public schools have very different Spring Breaks and the weather has made the fields a mess. Tournaments are also the toughest games to cancel since you cannot easily reschedule them and then have to return the fees, and tournaments can be big money makers so no one wants to return fees.

For you youth soccer vets, do you think they could do more stuff on Sunday in addition to traditional Saturday? Due to religious reasons we don't participate on Saturdays and its been impossible to find a good youth soccer league that doesn't play on Saturdays.

Unfortunately, Sundays are when travel teams usually play - again, due to competition for fields. (Rec generally uses the available fields on Saturdays, and then travel uses them on Sundays.)

Where are those schedules? They've already had 3 extra weeks to put everything together this season.

The schedules are really late. They keep making new deadlines and not meeting them. Other rec programs with MoCo fields have had their schedules out for at least a month.

Schedules are finally up!
