+1. Cake is pretty much cake. Chances are it will be decent and everyone will enjoy eating it.

Whole foods is not bad if you get the strawberry shortcake cake!

For that crowd, if you have a Costco membership get one there. But the little kids don't care. I like Whole Foods personally, but I didnt want to spend that much for a bunch of little kids who were going to eat two bites and toss the rest.

Another vote for Wegmans! I just picked up a birthday cake today and it was devoured in minutes! So good!
I'm not sure where you are located but there are several stores in Maryland. I went to the one in Crofton and there is also one in Columbia.

Costco is by far the best

I love Costco cakes and you can't beat the price. I also love the strawberry cream cake at whole foods if you want to spend more. But my favorite sheet cake is Costco's.

I like Costco cakes, have not been to Wegmans but people rave about their cakes so...anyway if it's for kids it doesn't matter that much lol. Kids are not that picky about cake!

Safeway has a cookies and cream cake which is a chocolate cake - whip cream frosting - and oreos on the top. Its our favorite grocery store cake by far.

Normally, I am all about homemade cakes. With that said, I recently bought a sheet cake from Safeway and everyone at the party raved about it and asked where I bought it. It was a white cake with white icing and beautifully decorated.

Costco is the BEST and a huge 1/2 sheet is only $18. But if you don't have a membership then go for Harris Teeter if possible, or Safeway is decent.
