If it is really eating you up you can make a point of only having your assistant schedule your flights during "office hours" and on week days. You will, however, earn that reputation, as the person who takes the morning west cost flight back instead of the 4pm (or red eye). My company will let you work a half day if you spent a SUnday on a long haul flight or will look the other way if you need Friday off after a long trip. But other than that, white collar jobs with travel are just that. |
What do you mean by this? You incur travel expenses that are not reimbursed? What is your job and what kind of travel is this? |
My guess is OP is just mad at the travel, and feels she should be paid more. I doubt OP meant that the travel was out of their own pocket. That's unheard of. |
