| Does anyone think it was Skyler that turned on Walt? Or maybe the house was destroyed by Walt as a ruse to get his family out? |
Like he told Hank: He would never see the inside of a jail cell. |
She's too smart. If she turns on Walt she indicts herself and loses everything. Methinks Hank will eventually have to give up the manhunt. There is no way in heck that his colleagues will believe that a top DEA agent could have a drug king pin as a brother in law without somehow knowing or tipping him off. Walt knows that if he could outsmart Gus, he can outsmart Hank (again). Anyone else notice all of the weaponry in the trunk? I think in the end Walt fights for his freedom by just killing everyone who knows.. except maybe Skylar because she's in too deep. |
BUT in the present day, it seems to be public knowledge that Walt was Heisenberg, given the graffiti inside the house and the neighbor's reaction upon seeing him. He obviously escaped somehow, but has decided to return to seek revenge (I assume). I think Skyler must be either dead or in prison at that point. Also, I think Lydia's going to die soon. Her line "You're putting me in a box" and the next episode being titled "Buried" seem kind of foreshadowy. |
| Also--Carol's reaction to Walt (dropping the groceries) was as if she had seen a ghost--Walt has faked his own death. |
Walt took that punch from Hank like a little bitch, though.
|
This. It has to be part of Walt's faked death. And he has to kill Jesse as Jesse has clearly lost it. |
I think the house was just boarded up and closed off by the city, and the local hooligans did the rest...the graffiti, broken mirrors, and all-around destruction. The chain link fence had a "City of Albuquerque - No Trespassing" sign on it, so I think either it was abandoned by the family or it was taken over by the city as part of their investigation/prosecution of Walt. Or maybe it becomes a crime scene at some point? |
| I read a speculative article noting that Walt takes on characteristics of the people he kills (note him driving the 80s American beater, like Mikes cars). And in the diner he breaks up his bacon and makes the number 52 - like Sklyer did for him on his birthdays. I think he killed Skyler. |
I think I read that too...he also knelt down at the toilet just like Gus Fring. Interesting! |
My prediction is that Hank will look at the tracker info on his computer and immediately see that Walt went to Jessie's house. Hank will then go to Jessie's and pressure him to help take Walt down. |
| Why did Hank take the book, knowing Walt would find it missing? So unlike a seasoned investigator. It seems that he wanted Walt to know he found out. |
I thought the weird part was that Walt noticed it was missing at all. Like, "Now that I'm finished puking, I think I'll read a bit of Leaves of Grass!" I do think it made sense for Hank to take it when he had the chance, in case Walt disposed of it later. |
