OP here...The webinar did emphasize that many people tend to undersell themselves...she did not mention a gender difference, but I'm sure the Lean In data is true.
The fear that I would have to give a very specific example in an interview of how I was an expert has prevented me for finishing some applications...and it seems that fear is likely (but possibly not!) unfounded. |
