Local options for natural cycle IVF

I did a lot of research and decided that Dominion was the way to go since they do more NCIVF than any other clinic. I'm glad that Dominion does it. That said, I am not a big fan of their office. A minor complaint in the grand scheme of things, but the music they have on in the waiting room and procedure rooms is atrocious, and so loud! We loved our doctor at SG, and would have stayed with them if they were willing to do natural cycle.

I was a patient of DF (now pregnant, yay!) and I don't remember any music in the waiting room, so it either must have not been too loud, or maybe I liked it...no idea! But they were into playing music during transfer, etc. I asked them to change it for me at one point to something to help me to relax more and they did. Of course, you are stuck with their playlist but we found something. At any rate, a small price to pay. I was very happy with their office and staff and very turned off by SG, which just goes to show that we are all comfortable with different environments and office styles. OP, hopefully you will find a good fit, but agree that if you are bound to NCIVF, you should go DF or to someone out of the area.

I am the 7/26 8:55 poster... we did a stimulated cycle for round 1 at CFA and froze 5 embryos from the cycle. But, we were unsuccessful achieving pregnancy with the two embryos implanted in the first round. For our second round, CFA called my cycle NCIVF because we simply monitored my cycle with no stimulated drugs. I was monitored very closely 2-3 times a week initially and then almost daily near ovulation. When I was ready, they defrosted two of embryos frozen from round one and implanted them. I'm almost positive that we had a trigger shot though. But, other than that, it was all natural and successful. And it was the cycle immediately following my failed cycle. So, its a myth that you need to rest a month between cycles.

This might not be right for you. But, it worked for us.

WFC recently opened in DC near Foggy Bottom. Dr. Gindoff , an ex-GWU is now there.

Steer clear of him, he was fired from GW and now has teamed up with WF, they have a lot of negative posts on this site.

Makes sense, so NC Frozen Embryo transfer. I am currently pregnant from that too (different clinic), although the IVF, like yours, was not natural cycle. Congrats!
