| And then you should really wonder if rigor should be a primary criteria by which to judge an elementary school, especially before 4th grade. Seems myopic unless your child is in the very small minority of gifted. |
+1. You can supplement outside of school for very gifted kids. For elementary school, it's more important that the school is warm and nurturing and that the child is happy than the academic rigor or how ambitious the cohorts (parents). |
