| My employer pays about 1/2 of my health insurance premiums, as well as the $1500 deductible (I get about $225 per month deducted from my paycheck.) BUT there is no coverage for dependents, so I pay for a separate individual policy for DD, which just went up to $170 a month through CareFirst. No deductible on that one, but I don't think you can even sign up for that plan any more. So the total out of pocket is about $415, plus co-pays for each visit and prescription. I'm a single parent. |
| I have Carefirst and pay $ 350 per month with a $ 1,500 deductible. My company contributes $ 500 throughout the year to a health savings account. My coverage was much better at my last job. $120 per month, $1000 deductible and company paid first $600. I miss those days! |
| $300/month for health insurance for a family is a sweet deal, assuming it is not a high-deductible plan. My firm pay $1100/month per employee for a low deductible BCBS PPO plan (I have a $300 out of network deductible and $15 co-pays), and we pay nearly $700/month for my spouse and child ($600/year deductible each). |

My law firm, for my wife and I is about $1k a month for a basic HSA plan with a high deductible.
My wife's work is $200 a month for a cadillac BCBS plan, $5 copays, free prescription. |
| $139/pay period (bi-monthly.) Family of 4, includes dental, vision. $20 copays. BCBS PPO. |
|
about $400/month for a federal HMO for self and family.
no deductible. Limited provider network. |
| Husband's employer (a small business) pays his portion of family premium only, we pay $1200/mo for the rest of the family. This is for an Anthem PPO plan with no deductible and $20/$40 copays. Those of you who pay little to nothing for your insurance, count your blessings. |

88 for medical (United Healthcare)+ 26 for dental (Aetna), twice a month
2 Adults, $400 per person deductible Work for a large consulting firm. |
| I can't believe you would be upset about paying $320/month. We pay $1150 a month and it slays me. |
| We pay $2000 per month for family of 4. I would love a $320 per month plan! |
| My employer's plan is $1200/month for family coverage. I practically screamed at the HR person when I found out. It does not make me a loyal employee. |
You might be better off in the individual market - we pay much less than that and we are in the high risk pool in MD. Might be worth switching in January when O-care kicks in. |

DH pays 130$ every bi-weekly paycheck
15$ co-pay to any doctor within the network |
Family of 4, I'm SAHM |

This is so apples and oranges! For insured employees it is dependent on your employer's plan. For self employed we have real apples to apples.
