| They seem to have a beautiful view of the Pacific from the living room window. Nice! |
| looks like crap, every boom vomits these types of homes out. |
Agree, this one and the one on Wash. Blvd. are somewhat interesting but not in the right place(s) for their design IMO. |
| the design is cool. It just seems out of place with the surroundings. |
| I love it. Creativity has to start somewhere. I appreciate the contrast. |
| I love it. NoVA stands out for having the worst architectural style and quality of any major (or minor) metropolitan area in which I have lived or visited in the US. On a per-dollar basis, it is unforgivable. I'm delighted to finally see something with some chops - wish I were in the market! |
Actually, yes. WTF were they thinking? |
Don't be a putz. You haven't gotten around much, then. |

Ugh there's a similar house on Washington Blvd a few blocks east of EFC Metro.
Hideous and completely out of character in a neighborhood of older colonials and capes. I always wonder if the people who buy them feel a bit silly. |
If posts here are any evidence, the buyers would assume everyone else is just "jealous" and "not very successful." |
Here hee. +1 |
this is nice

| The house is on the corner opposite the church that create s big parking pr oboes in the neighborhood and is about to double in size causing mor e problems. Also being redistriicted from Taylor to Glebe. Double whammy |

| The developer isn't an architect, so no formal training which is why the proportions are a bit funky, and contemporary design is hard to do. And the window mullions look strange. I hope the rendering is just an early concept. Too bad the old house will have to go. |
