| I'm a huge fan of New Zealand sauvignon blanc and love Kim Crawford. However, I recently found one that tastes just like it and is only $12.99. It's called Pikorua and I've found it at a few local (Silver Spring) stores. Delish! |

Penfolds Shiraz, Chateau St Michelle Chardonney, Merlot or Cabernet, Estancia Cab or Merlot, Ravenswood Merlot is actually good.
I'm forgetting now (sign of age) but something like Jean De Fleurie Beajolais is good for a light red. |
| If you are paying $25 for Ravenswood or Estancia or Penfolds basic shiraz you are being totally ripped off. Totally. |
The question was "under $25" dumbass. |
|
Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc/Vigonier or Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc or Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay for whites under $25 (the first two are actually well under $20).
Louis Martini or Wendte Cab are good reds. Or, anything Bogle (red or white) is reliably good and under $25. |
+1 to bolded Adding Ferari Carano Fume Blanc |
| Ghost Pines, yum. |
| Another +1 for Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc/Viognier. The best most affordable most versatile damn delicious everyday white anywhere. We love it. Never get tired of it. |
| The Sonoma Cutrer's excellent too, we just don't drink that much chardonnay. |
