| Hideous decor. Gag! |
Me too, and I wonder if the red tiled bath is adjacent to a game room or teens bedroom and that's why it was done that way. It's tacky, but my 15 year old son would love a bathroom like that! |
NP here, me too. But I do love the rest of the house. |
| What did all those poor ceilings do to anyone to be treated like that? |
| That house is fine, minus all the hideous decor and taste elements (HATE the beveled countertop and chandelier in the kitchen for example) and I would HATE to live on Chain Bridge Rd and for 1.2 mil, I can afford not to. |
| I bet the owners are foreign born. That is the most horrendously ugly and tacky decorating I have ever seen. I hope I never see anythign that nasty again. Yuck. It is going to take the new owners a lot of money to scrape off all the crap and cheese. |
| bigot |
| People in DC are super tacky. |
| Why do you think the owners are foreign born? |
| House is pretty kick ass to me. |
HA! +1! And I also agree with the other PP who said people in this area are tacky. Or maybe it's that they're the same level of tacky as the rest of the country, but they have the disposable income to make their vision of crazy come true. |
Rarely does one see this level of tacky in NWDC. It's mostly in the burbs, and the NOVA burbs at that. This does look like someone from another culture or lower SES background decorated it as their version of what an upper class Americans or WASPy home would look like. Although they have clearly never been inside the house of such a person IRL. |
| all i can think of is maintenance in painting all the wood siding and roofing |
