Chronic Migraines

Anonymous
Another chronic sufferer here -- I am in week 9 and was looking forward to no migraines during pregnancy, as I'd heard was a likely possibility. No such luck. First horrible one was on the day (and days following) I found out I was pregnant. Now am having my second. Before getting pregnant I was on a daily, preventative dose of propranolol, with Relpax and fioricet as needed. My OBGYN said fioricet was okay, but to avoid Relpax unless an emergency. So far I've avoided all of them, but it's not fun. Am using an ice pack and tylenol (which does nothing), and surviving, so far!
