Yup, this was my neckline when I went out with my husband for dinner the other night. You should have seen the rest, you probably would have needed to grab your smelling salts. But all that matters here is that my husband could not keep his eyes or hands off me.

Where are you going on your date night? Some of these dresses are great cocktail dresses, but are overkill for most restaurants in DC. Or maybe we eat dinner too early (due to babysitter constraints) to see the fancier outfits.

I'm OP. We're going to the Ashby Inn out in Paris VA. We're also staying there overnight. Our dinner reservations are for 7:30. I've been there before and you see everything from cocktail to more casual. Thanks for the suggestions so far. I really like that first WHBM and the Maggy London dress from 11:02's post.

Don't have a photo, but I think a fitted black tank dress looks sexy and sophisticated, and can be as dressy or casual as you want. A racerback style can help you show off your arms and shoulders.
