Give it a shot. If all else fails, all those science courses, etc, will let you fall back on a Physician's Assistant. Don't be so quick to blow off a career as a PA. The money is very good. A good friend is a PA specializing in orthopedics/surgery and loves it spending a lot of time in the OR.
