Want to open a savings account and do not knwo where to start

This is what i use. I have a checking and savings account with them since June of 2012. For 8 years prior to that I had Bank of America. In February of 2013 when I did my 2012 taxes, I'd earned so much interest through ING that i had to report it on my taxes. I looked through past years and realized that if I added up ALL the interest I'd earned in 8 years with BoA it was still less than I'd earned in six months with ING. I was FLOORED.
