I've got two kids and with both pregnancies I had bleeding at the time my first missed period was due. Less than a normal period though - a couple of days and no bright red. Continued to bleed on and off through the pregnancies - they never discovered why, and it was pretty stressful, but all worked out in the end.

New Poster here, AF started but no fresh red blood at all, just light sticky brown (sorry, TMI). took HPT test but it was negative...is this just a weird period or is it at all possible i could be pregnant?

OP here; I would just wait on it, PP. In my case, it was a strange experience in that my flow came at the usual expected time for a period, though in retrospect, maybe there was a slight difference from a 'regular' flow. I tested positive later, at I think 16 DPO.

You can see stuff on the ultrasound at 5 weeks, but your HCG has to be over 2000. Call you doctor, and ask for a beta today and another on Friday.
