Yeah, what other industry spends millions to create an entirely new product category and then prices its initial products really high?

Oh wait, all of them.

Now, how does Tesla offset Fisker and the Chevy Volt that may be impossible to ever calculate with all the programs of tax credits, etc.

Is there time for Obama to develop electric planes?

He has plenty of time to mess up more.

Yeah, you all laughed at Carter's energy initiatives. He financed the development of shale oil and gas extraction, and guess what has been our big energy success?

I heard the other day that if you have a product and describe it as "environmentally friendly", it actually reduces sales to conservatives. Great mindset guys. Your grandchildren will be proud.

Jeff, you hear lots of things.

When can I show you some bridges?

I heard you were accusing George Soros of selling Jews into concentration camps at the age of 14 or something.

No, that wasn't PP. That was me. And I'm not PP

Kind of hard to tell you drones from the hive mind apart, so I'm sure you can understand my mistake.

I'll sign my posts VC so you won't make this mistake in the future. Mwah!

I never figured out what the problem was with the CFLs. They really never bothered me, I never noticed that they emitted "sickly" light.

The light was greenish, took a while to warm up to full potential, and if they broke, they were environmental hell.

If you buy really cheap off-brand ones, they suck. But GE, etc., are great.

Never heard of Fisker. Thanks for the link.

There are several Mitsubishi MiEVs around, too.

That's what we bought. I don't like flourescent lighting. I hate those bulbs. YMMV

The "warm" ones are much more "normal" looking. We mistakenly bought the very cool white ones, which took a long time to get used to. Luckily they basically last forever.

Consumer Reports says the Chevy Volt has the top customer satisfaction rating 2 years in a row. 92% would buy it again.

Now that they are available in colors other than silver I might consider getting one. I'll definitely consider it if VA will re-issue that special Green Fuels license plate that lets you drive on I66 HOV.
