OP did you really think we were all going to come here and laud you for ignoring what are, frankly, basic steps to preventative care/early intervention as you age? You're not ahead of your time - this is the mindset of an old woman who'd rather live under a rock than put in the effort to take charge of her health. If you don't make these appointments and something happens, it can't be your fault, right? You're a drain on society. For SHAME.

PP here again - I hate threads like this because you're so caught up in your special way of doing things you don't even realize how stupid it is. Get a mammogram. See your PCP. You're old and probably going to get cancer - why not put the effort in to live as long as you can?
