DC aftercare programs

There is an after school prover in Brookland that is off site. They do Spanish immersion and pick up at Bethune. At least that's what I read on the Brookland Kids list.

Does anyone know of a afterschool pick up for Promise academy ( KIPP ) on Benning Rd.

I think Centro Nia used to do this for some of the neighborhood schools (like Tubman) that didn't have enough aftercare slots for all the PK kids that needed it. The YMCA Calomiris in NE does this. Probably some others.

Boys and Girls Club used to send a bus to our school (years ago, not sure if they still do).

DCJCC picks up kids at Ross and walks them over to their facility, for enrichment classes and aftercare. Parents then pick up their kids at the JCC. PS3 through 5th grade.
I think they do this with a few other schools as well, but not sure of specifics.
