Add a pantry and cut out new entry into kitchen? Can this be done relatively easily?

This was what I was trying to explain in my earlier post; modifying that wall that separates the kitchen from the living room so the space is more open. The stove is not on that wall, it is on the wall that I am thinking of putting the pantry in.
