Wrap dresses!! You can wear them to work and the ruching covers up your little belly.
Summer is really the perfect time to be in your first/early second trimester because of the flowy tops out there. Check out Nordstrom and the Limited. And yes, the bella band is your friend. I had to do this in the winter, when I typically wear pencil skirts and slim sweaters - fortunately, it was also around the holidays, so maybe people thought I was just overindulging at Thanksgiving/Christmas? |
Fantastic recs! Thanks all.
Does anyone know how maternity clothes will hang with a little belly? For example, I like the stretchy Gap tops/dresses in the maternity section and might as well buy a few, but I'm wondering if I'll look like a crazy person with a big weird flap of fabric. I'm typically a size 4-6. |
Anybody know about this last q? |
I bought real maternity clothes at 14 weeks and did not have any weird fit issues - they all fit through 40 weeks and I was huge - the shirts generally have side ruching that keeps it in place with small belly but that stretches with a big one! |
