Did you try DCPS/charter before moving to MoCo for better schools? Was moving worth it?

We regret moving from JKLM. We're in a very good MCPS cluster but the overcrowding and the curriculum is VERY disappointing. I'm beginning to think that the only people who rave about MCPS are people who work for MCPS. I see a very opinion coming from the staff than expressed by the parents. Its good for schools to be proud of themselves but something is very off with this whole system. Its certainly not a system worth a long commute or financial sacrifice anymore.
