We bought a fixer-upper practically no one wanted because it was a 5 minute walk from everything we needed - school, shops, etc. And work was one reverse commute away. I love my house and am so glad we bought it! We are renovating to our hearts' content, exactly how we want it.

Conclusion, find something to love about your home. If you move soon, try to rent it out until real estate prices rise.

Again thanks for commenting and really make sense. Maybe 10 years later, I decided to sell it and would worth more than what I paid now lol.
