Are keen sandals worth the price?

I ordered some because I thought they would be comfortable. They felt like bear traps on my feet. I sent them back with a quickness.

We LOVE our Keens. I don't find them stiff and think they are fairly cushy. DD and I have the "whisper" style and DH has the Newport or similar. Even my mom, of the AAAA finicky foot loves her Keens.

DH and I have not found odor to be a problem with ours, but DD's Keens get washed weekly b/c hers get stinky.

We wore Keens for our three days at Disney and had happy feet, joints and backs. And no blisters. I happen to think that is worth $100 a pop, as blisters and aching feet/knees/back can ruin a vacation.

DH bought some for day hikes in Hawaii (going in and out of water). He loves them. I bought a similar but, in my opinion, slightly less hideous pair of Ahnu sandals. Love, love, love them.
