| I'm just about to start Insanity again. Month two is a killer, after I finished I cut back to doing mostly the month 1 workouts and cardio abs three times a week, but I fell off the boat this winter. Happy to say that my fit test results are still at about 80% of when I finished; 100% for some. |

| I love Cardio Abs! |

Insanity works, I did it to lose the babyweight and then self train for a marathon. I swear by it! I bought mine off of Craigslist for $40, seriously best investment of my life.
You must be dedicated and follow the program. Sure you can miss a day every now and then but 99% of the time you must do the daily workout. |
If you don't mind my asking, how much baby weight did you have to lose and what was your starting fitness level? I've also got baby weight to lose. |

PP here, Insanity helped me lost about 25 lbs of baby weight. I was already at a good level of fitness, did an hour of cardio, usually elliptical 5 times a week. But the weight wouldn't budge. A good friend suggested Insanity, I got for cheap via Craigslist so I thought what the heck. It clicked with me. I used it in conjunction with my regular cardio, so some days I was doing Insanity and a cardio. I also really streamlined my diet, using the app My Fitness Pal, to eat a high protein (at east 80g per day) diet with a certain calorie restriction. It took me about 2.5 months to lose all the weight, but I was fully committed.
IMHO Insanity alone, without any other exercise or diet changes, is not enough to get you significant weight loss. BUT it is a great supplement, something to get you going, over the plateau. It really helped me with toning. i had been trying to lose the last 25 lbs for 6 months and this finally seemed to make it work. You can take it anywhere, it doesn't require extra equipment, just a DVD player or computer. I have taken it with my on vacation and done it in teeny tiny flats overseas. It is expensive, so check Craigslist. I got mine, sealed, for a great price. |
| is it different that P90X-I got bored with it-hard so long and repetitive |
| I have found insanity, while different, has not been as hard as advertised. (though I had a decent workout routine before). I am adding in extra cardio some days - and weight training. Agree with pp, for many folks would not be cure all to lose the weight. |
