WIS parents - I wish I had known x

I wish I had known it would exceed all of ours and our children's expectations and to be confident in the decision from the start - we spent many months fretting and worrying about making the correct choice, time wasted

I have had 3 kids go through the primary school and they have all loved recess, whether on the playground or the soccer field. I have also been on the playground many times at dropoff, pickup from aftercare, and the occasional lunchtime recess if I am there to help with something or for a meeting. I have never seen anything other than standard little kid playtime.

Many of the area privates have adults involved in structuring activities on the playground to help avoid problems bubbling or exploding up, not just working on the resolution of the problems after they have appeared. Different theories I guess.

Adults organizing structured activities during recess? Yes, that's a different philosophy to be sure. Sorry if this sounds rude, but this could only happen in the US! I am very glad this is not done at WIS but of course wish your child well at the next school.
