| Who puts anything over a baby's face? |
| MYOB |
??? I've initiated three threads on here in my entire life: from zero to p90x, half bathroom off dining area, and one asking for feedback on the preschool I just put a deposit on. While I recognize that I probably have a writing style, I'm not sure how asking for advice on the placement of a half bath makes me a troll or indicative of a personality disorder. Thanks for your "siggestion" for titles going forward. I will be sure to incorporate it into my next intended thread about how one identifies a good architect for an addition. Someone who has enough time on their hands to recognize writing styles on here probably needs to seek out a more fulfilling hobby (read: life) |
So how are you asking for feedback on a preschool if you just wrote you're not in the area? Troll. |
You are certifiably crazy! I live in NOVA but have gone to the state where my parents reside to celebrate Easter with my family. I'm working remotely at a coffee shop while my niece watches my DCs. Your purpose in life is to stalk DCOM and call people trolls. So so so sad that you find enjoyment in such a pathetic manner. Back to work for me. Hope you find solace with your miserable existence. |
| Gosh, people here are harsh. I have a newborn and I would have been thankful for the OP's comment. When I first put a blanket over the carseat when newborn was a week old and I had to go to the doctors, I wasn't sure whether I should put it over the handlebar or under it to protect from the wind and cold out there. |

Glad the mother you approached took it so well. I don't think I would have. I probably would have been polite but it would have really ticked me off. If I sensed judgment in your tone, or that you'd been watching me the whole time I might have gotten angry and told you to MYODB.
But leaving a note on the baby?! Hilarious!

| My friend did this same thing with a heavy blanket over her baby when the baby slept. It killed me and I said something about it all the time. Didn't make a difference, but it broke my heart. I felt so bad for the baby. |
| Just to be clear, a blanket directly on a baby's face is not a SIDS hazard, it's a suffocation hazard. However, that said, I'm still not sure I'd've had the guts to say anything--but I really like a PPs suggestion to make it a comment along the lines of "your coat fell on the floor", implying that the mother didn't know/do it on purpose. Now that I have that in my head I might feel more comfortable saying something in the future. |
| Holy crap OP, MYOB. |
This is the same OP who had a waiter touch her baby's feet in the restaurant, right? Why pose these hypothetical questions, OP, if you're just going to then go ahead and tell us what you did or whether you were offended? What a waste of time. |
Umm, no, that was me. Never to post again. |
|
OP, ignore the haters. They have nothing going on in their real lives, so they try to fabricate virtual drama to quell their boredom.
PP with the suggestion to leave a note on the baby - you made me laugh out loud. |
Op--don't sweat it. I think people like to be DCUM sleuths. |
