I am guessing since the median is higher than the qualifying grade the chances would be really, really, really good. The teacher recommendation, grades, parent recommendations serves to give a better idea of the candidate. However, these grades and recommendations are subjective - they can not be quantified easily. Perhaps, they become useful when they have candidates with similar results. How they are weighted in the decision making process is anybody's guess though. |

The scores are the median for all accepted children. By definition half the kids will have a lower score than the median on every measure. |
