10:09 here. When I ask DD to show me where her pain is she rubs her calf (front and back). The pain doesn't seem to be in her knee or just in her calf muscle and it's worst at night. I think it's an all over feeling of pain. It will happen for a few days and then she won't mention it for a while. It probably coincides with her growth spurts.

What we use to call growing pains are just muscle pains dur to intense activity. Massages do help.

Found this old thread. My son (6) gets lower leg/shin cramps. Often when he’s running and jumping. But he says it’s always the same leg. Any experience with that?
