I have taught and/or evaluated students for over 35 years and am absolutely shocked at the salary you quoted. Are you unionized? |

| Montessori is not for everyone, though we love it, please do your research before jumping in to teach in the system. |

I have a friend who taught Montessori and was very frustrated.
Different schools can have internal tensions over the method. While some kids thrive in Montessori, others do not. And unfortunately, I don't get the impression that teachers are free to be honest with parents when their kid isn't doing well in Montessori and might do better in a more traditional school. She stopped teaching. |
