I felt so happy once I was off of it. I had to do the injections and was quote moody. Once I went off I felt much happier and was much less moody. Frankly I was elated to be off. I think it was one of the low points of the off pregnancy process for me
|
I will also add that I had much more energy. |
I stopped at about 10 weeks after doing IVF and had no changes that I noticed, except for no more gross mess. I'm 38 weeks along now. |
I was happy to be done with the mess of suppositories, but also a little nervous after previous losses that were likely caused by low progesterone.
I tried to remind myself that low progesterone prior to a placenta meant my ovaries were slacking, but it was all placenta after 8/9 weeks. No real change in symptoms. |
This is great info -- thanks, all. Glad to see 10 weeks is fairly common and that the placenta should have taken over by now.
I'm already feeling less bloated/tired, amazingly. Plus no gross mess anymore! |
I'm only five weeks, but I'm already counting down to being done with the suppositories. UGH. Terrible breast pain, messiness that makes me NEVER in the mood for sex, and bloating... enough with you already! |
My doc said 10 weeks, too (just went this morning).
I'm looking forward to not having to remember to take them! Were you all also on estrogen? |
Not about the progesterone, but about other things I take that he has prescribed. I think its an odd thing for a RE to say, so just thought it may be from the same person! |
I went off at 10 weeks and was on just progesterone. |
