Bummed out about missing out

OP, I was interested in a house, looked at it, but DH was not convinced it was the right area. So we waited. I kid you not, DH decided it was the right area a few days after the house was under contract. I was kind of pissed, because he didn't listen to me and I felt like we missed out. But a few weeks later, something else came on the market, better all around and we got it.

I know what you mean, OP. Sometimes a house just stays with you. Years later, and I am regretting one we passed. But you can't do anything about it now, just try to move on. There will be some houses that are at least almost as good, if it is any conciliation.
