| This is not a practical response, but Jonathan Franzen wrote a fascinating essay about the USPS in How to Be Alone. Some postal carriers just don't deliver their mail and it takes a long time for them to be held accountable, if at all. I still use the postal service, but certainly not for bills or other financial matters. |

I mailed three letters this month which have not been received by the intended. Two have monthly payments included and one had car keys. These were mailed from two different post offices. Return addresses are on all three. Now what can be done. As the postage rate
increases so the mail delivery decreases. |
You don't have occasion to send a check from time to time? I seem to have to do this at least a couple of times each month. |

I mail stuff from boxes that go to the Tenley/Friendship post office every few weeks and have only had one think not reach its destination. But on that one - I think it was the recipent b/c their house is a mess and they're always losing things. That said, mail does get lost, but I don't think it's systematic.
I like using online bill pay with my bank b/c they'll refund late fees if the $ doesn't reach the destination. And then I have a record of the check being sent. |
| I didn't get two pieces of mail last week). One is my weekly paycheck and the other a present I'm told was mailed from Tx almost 2 weeks ago. |

Outgoing mail was being stolen from the mail box in our neighborhood. Mainly ones that had a check in them.
Use the online bill payment feature of your bank for paying bills. Tough economic times. We recently added surveillance cameras to safeguard against these. |
I hope you didn't mail the keys in an envelope. They will almost always fall out and the person will receive an empty envelope with a hole in it where the key(s) cut themselves out. |
| I POSTED A LARGE CARD TO WIMBOTSHAM ON SUNDAY WITH A LARGE STAMP AND IT HASNT ARRIVED. DO I RING MU LOCAL PO OR DOES THE RECIPIENT RING THEIR LOCAL PO. I HAD MY ADDRESS ON THE BACK |

| Could you be under investigation for something...... |
| This has been happening to us the last three months , I have sent checks and a vehicle title and none of them arrived . Al letters were sent from the post office , is it theft or devaluation of the postal system. This has never happened before |
Welcome to the new normal |
| We moved from one neighborhood to another in our suburb. But changed post offices. The post office near our old house was flaky. My wife had several items that were lost in transit when we used the mailboxes covered by that post office or even the box in the parking lot outside that post office. She won't use that post office or the boxes routinely covered by that office. Even if we are going that direction, she'll go out of her way to get to another mailbox or the post office near the new house. My guess is more careless employees. We now live within the jurisdiction of the main post office for this suburb and the mail is much more reliable. |
| They are probably in a landfill somewhere. I’d use different post office. But yes report! |
