As long as you're looking at Auburn (2 campuses btw, one is in Silver Spring), you should check out Diener as well. They're pretty similar. River school may also be worth looking into.


River will not work. Unless the child has a hearing impairment, they expect kids to have excellent/above avg language skills to "model" for those with hearing issues.

If you look at Auburn in SS, St. Bernadette's is pretty close geographically.

I have friends who send their children there and really love the school. However, I have know idea how accommodating they are with SN kids. But just in case you can't find one school for both kids.

Interesting. I saw one on the list - Parkmont, in Washington - that I have to say I have NEVER heard of. Anyone know anything about this school?

It is a school for grades 6-12. I believe it is on 16th Street in NW DC.
