I don't know anyone who gives a single shit about Arlington anymore, but did see this about Pimmit Hills: http://dcist.com/2013/01/pimmit_hills_petworth_listed_as_hot.php |
| Hah, obligatory Mosaic marketing push! |
| Nice house on the inside. Typical Pimmit dump on the outside. But it'll sell for ask because the schools ARE good, whether you think so or not. |
| I heard the movie theater at the Mosaic plays movies no one likes. Not even the new Die Hard movie is playing there. Is the Mosaic even in the sought after Marshall pyramid? |
Angelika Film Center is great. Love it. You probably need to go hang out at Gallery Place or Ballston. |
| Mosaic goes to Falls Church HS |
|
To whomever started this thread, thought this new listing would make you happy:

WTH is WRONG with these posters that they are getting so nasty? And it is not discouraged? Someone needs to know about this.
|
| 18:29 here - wasn't being snarky. Thought OP would like to see another realtor making an affirmative reference to his/her pyramid in a listing. Chill out and don't assume the worst. |
| 19:13 are you new to DCUM? I am afraid it is brutally honest, and a tad snarky here. But generally people help each other and figure things out, even if they take shots while doing it! |
| Get used to it. That whole area is on the cusp of something big. |
Falls Church HS is the new Marshall HS. |
I think I can provide some reasons for the snarkiness about Marshall HS "pyramid". People still remember the old Pimmit Hills and Marshall HS, which sits directly across on Rt 7. I suppose it maybe changing due to lack of housing and the demand is spilling over into the areas that were once considered undesirable. Perhaps, the new people who are buying those homes want to change people's perception. However, I would still research the neighborhood before buying. Check the sex offender's registry... there are still many that live in the area. |
