McLean Gardens Loft Condo?

We moved from there last year. Agree with the PP. In no particular order: Liking dogs is essential, they are everywhere. Once the Commons are completed, you'll have some great stores and even more convenience. Its a bit rule bound. Lofts can be hot in the summer, but then you knew that! Bus lines directly to Friendship Heights, G-town, Adams Morgan, DuPont Circle and both metro stations.

We have a parking space at the corner of 39th and Newark that is available on a month-to-month basis or possibly for a longer term. It's convenient to Langley Court by a path between the buildings. You can contact us at soluri.j@gmail.com if you're interested.

+1 not sure what pp was speaking about when they said the metro was 'nearby'. I has no desire to hoof it down to cleveland park. So i drove downtown every day. Parking wasn't bad (7 years ago) if you claimed your spot by 7:30/8. Sunday parking after 3 was horrible. No one moved their car because they knew they'd never get a spot when they returned

Location is great, but the units are OLD. I came *this* close to buying there but didn't and found out that 2 months later the unit was flooded!!

- It's beautiful with mature trees and Archbold forest, a little creek. It's where I walk my dog.
- It has a great community garden, and two tot lots
- We use the swimming pool in the summertime which is great
- We use the BBQ pits for get togethers with friends
- The people here are very nice. You get to know your neighbors for the most part.
- I like that it's sandwiched between Georgetown and Bethesda. Easy access to everywhere.
I like how close it is to the National Cathedral because we like going to events there and sitting in the gardens.
- Metro accessible.
- Peapod delivers groceries here! Which is great in the wintertime.
- We love being in the city but with a suburban feel.

What I don't like:

- Sometimes the parking is challenging. But you can rent a space.
- Sometimes people don't pick up their dog's poop!

Anyone would be happy here. The loft you are looking at looks renovated, which is a plus. This one says you have skylights too which people love. Good luck!

It's not that close to Metro: almost a mile to Cleveland Park station and a mile to Tenleytown, which is more direct.

Driving downtown is tough. Wisconsin to Garfield to Mass Ave. and then downtown is no picnic.
