Tyson's Corner mall(s) is better than Arlington's Mall

The main issue with pentagon city is the distance from dc. It is very convenient for criminals to come to the mall to attack and steal

Hopefully the Tyson's malls attract all of those mall people to go live out there. I hear they all like shiny new things like the Mosaic District.

That's it! This trumps all the reasons I bought in Arlington. Listing my third-world shanty now...

we had affluent friends from another country visit us and they noted how primitive and run down the neighborhood of Arlington and falls church city looked. Their main points were the over head electrical lines and the old styled homes. Ironically they were impressed by the way new construction developments looked. It's funny how living in the DC area twists one's view of what is acceptable and affluent.

Now that somebody brought it up...when I was first house hunting in some neighborhoods out near Tyson's every single owner (checked tax records) was owned by somebody Middle Eastern...then Indian/Asian.

There is a very 'International' (not Euro) population out there. Many like multi-family households. BIG reason we didn't head out there.

Oooookay. And you know people from Arlington can still go to those malls if they want to, right? It's not like anyone is walking to Tysons.

What an odd post.

I believe with metro coming in you can walk to tysons. If you go down route 7 they have installed sidewalks and walkways. You can actually walk down route 7 from down the road to tysons. It's still a work in progress and is very exciting.
