Any good places to eat near Collage Park Ikea?

We love Ikea.

But since you asked for other-than-Ikea, isn't the original Ledo in College Park? We love Ledo, but haven't been to the original.

in the shopping center with Home Depot just off Rt 1 on the other side of the beltway, there are a few options.

Mamma Lucia - italian, pizza, etc.

Hard Times Cafe - decent veggie burgers

Buffalo Wild Wings has decent food, mostly bar food though, and is in the small shopping center adjacent to IKEA

also second the recommendation for Woodlands - has some of the best south Indian food in the area, though it is a few miles away at NH and University

There's a chipotle right near there.

there's also a sarku, buffalo wild wings, and potbelly, right off the same street as ikea.

if you want to go farther closer to college park (as in the campus) on route 1, there are a TON of restaurants, many of them new.

there's a new mexican place azteca which is decently rated on yelp. there's a bobby's burger palace and sushi place in a new development, there's the college park diner, the jerk pit, a chinese buffet, etc etc etc.

but if it were me, on a weekday i'd probably do the korean lunch buffet at gahram (further out, toward laurel, near costco) or sarku because it's so close to the ikea.

We often hit Shagga Coffee for great Ethiopian on our way out there.

NP here. For clarification, these are on US-1 about 1 block north of Ikea, but you don't have to go out to US-1. From Ikea, go to the turning circle on the north side of the Ikea above-ground parking lot. The East side goes out to US-1. The north side (90 degrees past the East side) goes to a small side street that feeds the apartments. Take this and at the end, it bends back towards US-1. Just before you get back to US-1, you'll find the restaurants. Potbelly and Buffalo Wild Wings will be on your right in the strip mall, Sarku (japanese teriyaki, including a vegetarian option with tofu, a seaweed salad, and a salad with ginger dressing) and Einstein bagels will be on the left. They share a building.

For other alternatives, if you go a little further north on US-1 (towards Beltsville and Laurel), you will find a Sardi Pollo Peruvian chicken place on the right (just under a mile). If you go up just past the Costco to Powder Mill Road, on the north-west corner of Powder Mill and US-1 there is a little strip mall with a CVS. There is a great little Korean noodle house and Dunns River Caribbean cafe. Two other local, good ethnic cuisines.
