99.5 is really not appropriate for kids. They also are targeting adults, as you can see from the conversation topics (some of which go on and on and on, where they invite callers to tell their own experiences with sex, drugs, etc.) Beyond that, though, there is very LITTLE music played in the course of an hour, at least in the morning drive. So to go there for One Direction you might hear it one time in a week, the rest being just vomit stuff.

The only show not appropriate on 99.5 is the morning show. And it's a TALK show. They barely play 20 songs during the program. So, OP wouldn't turn there for music in the morning anyway. Any other time time is just fine.
