Will the whining EVER end???

I know this is terrible, but if we don't have an activity to go do (like playgroup, errands or a trip to the park) and I'm at the end of my mental capacity for stories, tea parties and coloring, I've just been putting on Sesame Street or a video I know she'll watch just to get her to stop whining for the time being and give myself a break from it. Definitely feeling like a bad mom this week!
I feel the video kind of rewards the whining. I'm with the rest of pp's completely don't respond, go in your room, close the door and ignore. It's like the paci. Rough the first couple of weeks, but over time, with consistency will get better.
