What did you do as a seller if appraisal came in low

We had this happen last spring. We ended up splitting the difference (20k) with the buyers. It worked our okay for both of us.

A lot of buyers and buyer agents are comparing with recent sold comps, but totally disgard or lack of knowledge that, 1. The inventories are low. 2. The property market value will increase, dc even increase as high as 7% I've heard.

Now, a lot a buyers are hesitate and wait just don't want to pay a little over what they believe its the fair prices, the later regret as the upcoming properties going on the market will be 7% increased.

Now, as the seller, it wouldn't hurt to hold on to it due to above reasons.

PP, this is just like the previous post say that "would you pay a little over if you really like the house?"

I would say if not too high and you like it, why not.
