Infertility Support and Discussion
|
I also really liked Dr. Sacks and I'm surprised to hear people had problems at Columbia fertility. Sometimes you have to be proactive and make the calls to get info, but I felt like my care was personal, thorough and generally very very good. I also started at shady grove and didn't like it there. They only seemed concerned with payment and I didn't feel like the Dr there listened to me or my concerns at all.

I really like Dr. Sacks and felt that the staff was very supportive. But I agree with all the PP that say you need to be proactive. I kept detailed notes on everything and followed up constantly. I wasn't about to let anything slide by and I think that helped make my experience there better. I went through the whole 9 yards and Dr. Sacks ended up recommending another doctor to me and I got pregnant after having some surgery. Dr. Sacks was great and I would recommend him.
And it is true, what is up with those turtlenecks! |
| I've been happy with Dr Sacks as well. (I didn't notice the turtlenecks, but we did spend half of one appointment talking about healthy recipes!) I feel like he's caring, and is willing to work with you and be flexible. Although he hasn't gotten me pregnant yet (my issue is age), I know of at least 10 other women who have been successful with him. |
