What do you call preschool teacher?

This is what we do, too. In the mornings "Say good morning to Ms. Mary", and then if I have to tell her something and my child is already occupied, "Hi Mary, here's a new tube of sunscreen for Larla since she ran out last week."

3 different daycare/preschools. One used Ms/Mr Lastname, but the other two used Ms/Mr Firstname. Even if they introduced themselves as "Mary" we taught our children that it was "Ms. Mary" as that is our family rule.

Well, my DD's teacher calls me "Jane", so I call her "Mary", however if my DD is with me, or if my DD and I are talking about her, I use "Ms. Mary" which reinforces that Ms. Mary is what my child is supposed to call her.

In the preschool where I teach, we go by "Ma. Larla" to the kids; parents are welcome to call us by our first name with no "Ms."

At my DS's preschool, his teacher went by "Mrs. Smith" to the kids. The parents called her either Mrs. Smith or by her first name.
