Do you cook at home on Friday?

Yes. Friday night is Shabbat and we try to do Shabbat dinners at home.

Shabbat at home for my family too.

And its not in our budget to eat out or get takeout every week.

We eat out either with or without our teens. Sometimes we get pizza or just fix the kids who are around something like kraft mac and cheese. Since we longer need babysitters DH and I often go out early for happy hour or later for drinks/appetizers.

Friday night is movie night at our house. Sometimes we get take-in, sometimes we finish up leftovers.

Eat in. It was always my night to cook something easy that pairs well with wine. ?

Every summer I think "we're going to have picnics at the pool on Fridays" and then every week I get home at 530, DH gets home at 6, and the kids are zonked from their day at day care/camp, so need their normal 7-730 bedtime - so it ends up being a normal weeknight for us.

We actually end up eating out more often on Sundays, I cook several dinners for the week, and get burnt out on cooking, and we're able to go early enough to get everyone home, bathed & in bed at a decent time

Friday night seems to be the busiest time for dinner hour at restaurants so we try to go another night I cook Fridays, I just made chili last week and lasagna this week on Friday for dinner.

We usually do take out or go out. If we have good leftovers we may eat those, but rarely cook.

I can't even remember if my mom cooked on Fridays because I was either out or at a friend's house on Friday nights, but as an adult, that's our "going out" night, and I can't recall ever cooking on a Friday night. It now seems weird to me to see meal plans that include Friday- Friday's free!

We eat at home, but it's almost always leftovers from dinners earlier in the week. Rarely cook a new meal that night. We're too fried to go out and sit down at a restaurant by Friday night.

Shabbas dinner at home for us too. I usually make something simple as everyone is tired and hungry and there's challah anyway. But on the plus side there's wine and its our non fruit dessert day: so I pickup or save baked goods for then.

Same here.

Eat in. Restaurants are too crowded on Friday nights. By the time I get home from work, it is 6:15 and everyone is out and wanting to be seated. We usually eat out on Saturday to get an earlier seating.

We make pizza every Friday. I am amazed that people eat every week sometimes more then once!

We used to go out for pizza every Friday.

Recently, to save money and eat more healthily, we have started making pizzas ourselves and eating at home. We put the stuff in the bread machine to make the dough in the mornings, then we each decorate our own pizza in the evening. It doesn't take long, and is more fun.
