Does the Limited still have a store for kids? They often have great deals.

Isn't that called Justice now? If so, lots of glitter/sparkles and I doubt what OP is looking for.

I think the junior section in Macy's looks like a line for hookers. Low cut, thin, glittery clothes. I was not impressed. I hate Justice. Cheap feeling overpriced clothes. Same with Kohls. Awful.

We like LL Bean, Lands End, petite jeans at Old Navy, XS shirts at Gap or Banana Republic. Even Target can have some decent options. Did not know about Boden. Will have to look.

Nine is a cute age, but it passes quickly into tween. Abercrombie (hard to not look hooker) Size 14 sells out quickly b/c many parents want to stay in kids size as long as possible b/c so much cheaper. In shoes, check the size in inches -- kid size 6 is woman size 7. Much cheaper than adult shoes.

Children's place
Crazy 8
HM kids
Target kids
JCpenny
Sears
All these stores go up to size 14 & up in most of their brands. I know how you feel! I am 14, and i shop at all of the above. I cannot stand juniors clothes.

Shoes: if your daughter wears size 7 in women's, that is about size 5 in kids' shoes. Below, I'll list stores that carry kids shoes sizes 5.
Payless
Children's place
Skechers (most of the time)
I am size 6 in kids. Sometimes 5. size 8 or 9 in women's shoes.I mainly shop for shoes at Payless. Hope I've helped!

H&M tweens ' section at our mall is a big mess (clothes piled high on top of racks, not put away). Wear a hard hat.

I really hate teen clothes OP. I can empathize. I really stretched, the length of time my DD wore her Gymboree clothes but now a 5 foot three inches,I can no longer. I decided to skip the teen section altogether and just buy her adult clothes. There are a lot of adult clothes that look young. I bought my DD two dresses from L&T yesterday for example.

There seems to be a big size gap between a 14 and a 2. My daughter is just in between right now.
