How much do you spend on yourself each month? Shopping too much!

Oh and to answer your question, I spend about $200-$400 on myself each month, including hair and mani/pedi. This amount fits comfortably in our budget, but I could live with less if our financial situation changed. Find the amount that works for YOUR budget and stick to it.

On me? Very little, which is why I hate my wardrobe and show selection. But money is tight. When you can't afford it, you can't afford it.

Mani/pedi, hair and some clothes, usually about $200/mo or less.

The trips to target with the kids inevitably lead to purchases for me (clothes, shoes, random stuff) and my online shopping (damn you piper lime !) is starting to add up! I think I do it to quell some of the boredom and stress I feel. I honestly. Don't end up wearing much of it all that often. Anyone relate? Any reformed shoppers? What helped you pull back?

do you have a budget and do you know how much you spend on "random stuff" for yourself every month? One way to cut that kind of spending is to quit the target trips, and carefully track all your spending. Check out Amazon for some things -- that way, you don't have to go in person (though it is certainly possible to overspend on Amazon too by buying things that you think you "need"!)

Single, empty nester. Except for gifts and charity, all of the money I spend is for ME. Yay!

Not many people would consider that a splurge. Maybe burgundy washcloth lady.

Holy Christ I love you

I like the Lent idea - although may have to have an exemption for our vacation in FLA which falls during Lent

Yikes, I spend about $1,000 on myself each month and consider myself thrifty (i.e., not label-conscious at all).

uh, in what universe is 1000 a month on yourself thrifty?
